Our Vision

Build a Glorious Church

Ephesians 3:21 “to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever!” Church is the bride of Christ, and also the body of Christ. When the Church is glorified, Christ is glorified; this is God’s will, which is the work that He has appointed the church to accomplish from the beginning of time to His second coming. Therefore, the Church’s mission is to act out God’s will on earth, so the earth will become the kingdom of Christ.

What We Believe

The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God

That the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is the divinely inspired Word of God, the final and trustworthy authority for faith and practice. It is to be interpreted responsibly under the guidance of the Holy Spirit within the community of faith. The Bible clearly reveals the essentials necessary for Salvation and the basics of how to conduct our lives. It is the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried. (Deut. 4:1-2; II Tim. 2:15, II Tim. 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21)

The Trinity

That there is only one true and eternal God consisting of three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1; Deut. 6:4; John 4:24; John 14:6-13; Gal. 4:6; 2 Pet. 1:17; Psalm 2:7ff; Isa. 7:14; John 1:1-18; Heb. 1:8; Psalm 51:11; 1 John 4:13; Acts 5:3-4)

Redemption Through Christ

That God created humankind in the Divine image. Through Adam’s fall all became sinful, lost, and condemned. Each human being by deliberate choice participates in sin and is in need of Redemption through Christ. (Gen. 1:26-30; Eph. 2:1-22; Rom. 1:19-32; Rom. 5:12-21)

The Divinity of Christ

That Jesus Christ is God’s Son, begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, fully divine and fully human, the eternal and pre-existent Word. By His death Christ made full atonement for our sins, and by his resurrection showed Himself to be the Lord and giver of life to all who believe. (Heb. 1:1-3; Heb. 4:14-15; John 1:1-3,14; Luke 1:34-35)

Ministry and Spiritual Gifts

We believe that God is sovereign in the bestowing of spiritual gifts. It is, however, the believer’ s responsibility to attempt to develop their sovereignly given spiritual gift(s). The baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs at conversion and is the placing of the believer into the Body of Christ. We also believe that particular spiritual gift(s) are neither essential, nor prove the presence of the Holy Spirit, nor are an indication of deep spiritual experience. We believe that God does hear and answer the prayer of faith, in accordance with His own will, for the sick and afflicted. We believe that it is the privilege and responsibility of every believer to minister according to the gift(s) and grace of God that is given to him.
(1 Cor. 12:7, 11, 13; Ephesians 4:7,8; John 15:7; 1 John 5:14-15; Rom 12;1, 8; 1 Cor 13; 1 Peter 4;10).

Justification Through Faith in Jesus

We believe that God offers forgiveness of sin and justification through faith in Christ Jesus apart from works. Such redemption is received by human individuals as God’s gift upon repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ. Through Christ the believer becomes a new creation whose mind and will are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit from loving sin, to loving the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind, and loving all people as we love ourselves. (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Eph. 2:8-22; 1 John 1:6-2:11; Matt. 22:37-38)

The Church Consist of Regenerated (Born Again) believers of Jesus

That the Church is a community of faith consisting of regenerated believers with Christ as Lord. Such believers claim a personal relationship to God through Jesus Christ, are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, follow the Lord in believer’s baptism by immersion, share in the Lord’s Supper, gather regularly for worship, and covenant for mutual edification and care-giving. (Matt. 16:15-19; Rom. 10:9-10; Acts 16:30-33; 1 Cor. 11:23-26; Eph. 1:22-23; Heb. 10:23-25; I Cor. 6:19)

The Church is to bring Grace, Reconciliation and Positive Reform to Society

That the Church is called to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and God’s reconciling grace in the power of the Holy Spirit, inviting persons to receive salvation and follow Christ as His disciples. As disciples, we seek justice for all persons and the reform of society. (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Gal. 3:26-28; James 1:27; James 2:8)

The Second Coming of Jesus

That Jesus Christ will return visibly, at which time He will raise the dead and judge all people. Believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God as they participate in the fullness of His eternal reign, while unbelievers will suffer eternal separation from God. (Matt. 24:29-31; Matt. 25:31-46; 1 Thess. 4:14-18; Rev. 20:4-6, 11-15)

Our Strategies

Evangelism With Power And Authority,
To The Ends Of The Earth

Jesus commanded the disciples to preach the gospel to the whole world. “Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.” (Mark 16:20) Just as Paul preached, by the power of signs and wonders and through the power of the Spirit of God, the Gentiles obeyed. We believed that through the power of the Word of God and by signs and wonders, the gospel will be preached rapidly, from our own Jerusalem (family members), Judah (classmates, colleagues, neighbors), Samaria (Chinese all around the world), to the ends of the earth (cross-cultures), and finally back to Jerusalem, all with the power and authority that has been given by God to accomplish the Great Commission.

Pass On The Mission,
Equip And Edify The Disciples

Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations… and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” In Jesus’ three-and-half-years ministry on earth, he focused on discipleship.  He taught and demonstrated; he equipped and sent forth the disciples; through the power of the Holy Spirit, he commanded the disciples with the Great Commission, which is to be passed down from generation to generation. Our mission is to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. (Ephesians 4:12)

Walk In Faith,
And Live Out Christ

The Bible is the Word of God, providing Christians comprehensive principles of the Heavens. Ephesians 4:13 “until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” As followers of Christ, we are not only abiding to the teachings of the Bible, but furthermore, we have to walk in faith and grow with the image of Christ in our lives. The highest goal in a Christian’s life is to become the spokesperson of Christ, so that the world can see God’s love, wisdom, and characteristics through us.

Transform The Land,
Impact The Generations

Matthew 5:13-14 We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Church is the government on earth set by the kingdom of heaven, so that people can catch a glimpse of the heavenly kingdom. Therefore, the Church not only has to bring blessings to the community, but also to homes, schools, workplaces, transforming the entire generation. We aim to elevate and edify the city through community service and education, with the concept of introducing Christ to our daily lives.
